Nursery Reveal // Adventure Inspired

A personal post.

As promised to all our family and friends...here is our little guys nursery. If I am being honest, this is my favorite room in the house. When we found out we were expecting we knew that we wanted the baby's room to be neutral in colors, especially since this room had the best natural light. We chose the paint color 'cloud white' by Benjamin Moore. I love that its on the warmer side but still very neutral. Fast forward a couple months and we found out that we were going to have a SON! It was sorta a no brainer when we decided on an official theme for his room. Since we met almost five years ago we've been on a grand adventure (we even met while traveling) and our wedding was travel themed too!

A few important notes:

-His crib and changing table were used by his dad when he was a baby (and his two aunts). It makes his room that much more special to be able to use this memory filled nursery collection.

-Foxes everywhere! We fell in love with Mr. Fox (the orange one on the rocker) and ever since then we agreed that his animal would be the fox. You will see this theme throughout his room.

-Dream Catcher. Growing up I had one next to my bed and there was something comforting knowing that it would catch all my bad dreams. We wanted little man to have one too.

-Fox and driftwood mobile. This was handmade by his daddy and its perfect. The driftwood he collected from a local beach and he hand carved the foxes out of wood. He has a very talented dad!

-The Ace card on his shelf is a gift from his Auntie Jacqui. Its from his great-grams card collection. She chose the Ace card to signify baby Aaron.

-Hand knitted baby blanket (on his crib), made with love by Aunt Bethany.

-So many cherished books, toys, clothes, etc from our loved family + friends.

Becoming parents to our son is our greatest adventure yet. So without further ado here is Royce Maxwell's adventure inspired nursery. Enjoy!
